Crossroads began September 1999 with our first meeting in a rented hotel conference room. Within a short time, larger facilities were needed and Ellet Community Center became our temporary place of worship.

In early 2000, the church incorporated with three co-pastors who served as the elder leadership.

Later that year, we purchased our current property on George Washington Blvd. by the Akron Airport which was an old riding stable and indoor riding arena. Originally built as 34 horse stalls and an indoor riding arena, the facility is now the home of our congregation.

The horse stalls have been used as "Walk Through Bethlehem" a live nativity telling the story of Christ's birth. Bethlehem features nearly 20 shops, live animals and a realistic nativity.

After two years of renovation and rebuilding, we permanently moved into our facility. Through the years we have continued to modify and improve the facility to accommodate ministry to our congregation and outreach to our community.
